INFOKU, BLORA - The landslide that cut off access to the Gadon Village Road and Panolan Village in the southern region of Blora has finally been handled.
The Blora Regency Government , through the local Public Works and Spatial Planning Service ( DPUPR ), is handling the two-point disaster emergency.
The Blora DPUPR stretched a tarpaulin along the river bank which looked eroded.
The aim is to provide early anticipation so that further landslides do not occur because the rainfall is still high.
Head of the Water Resources (SDA) Division of the Blora Surat DPUPR said that this effort was carried out by his party because the condition of the land or river banks was already serious.

Also the status is emergency and while waiting for assistance that has been proposed to the Bengawan Solo River Basin Center (BBWS) .
"This is a very urgent initial treatment before further treatment is carried out permanently," he explained to journalists yesterday.
According to him, this emergency treatment is to protect landslide cliffs from surface water infiltration so that it does not directly seep into the landslide walls.
So, further, more severe damage can be reduced.
"Apart from that, it protects the cliffs from rainwater so that it doesn't fall directly into the land that is experiencing landslides. "So that the condition of the river embankment remains stable and doesn't slide easily again," he said.
Please note, the first landslide occurred in Panolan Village, Kedungtuban District, 30 meters long, 7 meters wide and 8 meters high on Tuesday (12/3).
Then, a second landslide occurred in Gadon Village, Cepu District, 70 meters long, 6 meters wide and 10 meters high. ( Endah / IST )
