Dindakop Blora Finds MSME Product Packaging Does Not Comply With Labeling

INFOKU, BLORA -The Technical Implementation Unit of the Legal Metrology Service of the Blora Trade, Cooperatives (Dindakop) and Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) Service found local MSME packaging products, goods in a packaged state (BDKT) whose units of measurement did not meet the provisions. 

This product was obtained from inspections of a number of supermarkets in Blora Regency. 

This inspection was carried out ahead of Eid al-Fitr at a number of large supermarkets in Blora.

These include supermarkets MD Mall and Luwes Mall.

This was done to guarantee fairness to consumers in trade, especially in the field of weighing and measuring.

Head of Legal Metrology UPTD, Blora Regency Cooperative and SME Trade Service, Indah Yuniatik, emphasized that based on the results of supervision, his party still found many local product packages that did not meet the BDKT requirements.

The most common finding is that there is a lack of measurement units. 

"During this inspection we took 16 samples of local snack products. "Including rice, oil, snacks and other packaged products," he said.

He added, there are 13 packaging labeling provisions regulated in PP no. 29 of 2021 concerning the implementation of the trade sector. These include units of measurement, list of ingredients, nominal quantity, distribution permit number and halal certification.

"From the results of this inspection, we found 14 samples of local products that still met the requirements of the BDKT provisions. "We will provide guidance to these local products for business actors to comply with regulations," he stressed. (Endah)
