INFOKU, BLORA – A statement emerged from the preacher Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman or Gus Miftah who spoke about the widespread news about him giving away money.
He conveyed this when giving a recitation entitled 'Natural Koran with Gus Miftah & Denny Caknan' at Kridosono Field, Blora, Central Java, Saturday (30/12/2023) evening.
At the event which was attended by thousands of people, Gus Miftah admitted that he was bullied because of a video showing him distributing money to the public.
"This was the first meeting after I was bullied by a hoax on social media, 'Gus Miftah is giving away money'.
Firstly, I would like to say that Gus Miftah's teachings are giving away money, that's been the case for a long time. "Because if you share problems, it's you," said Gus Miftah while on stage.

He explained that the money distribution incident occurred in the Pamekasan area, East Java.
"The incident in Pamekasan was not my money. I have a rich friend, a tobacco boss, that day the quota was for fellow employees. I came and was asked to share, what's the narrative? Gus Miftah is giving away money, money politics," he said.
"Then I was suspected of money politics, I was just giving out alms at the Koran, and yesterday it wasn't my money, I was given various rumors," he added.
Even though he felt bullied due to his action of giving away money, the head of the Ora Aji Islamic Boarding School, Sleman, Yogjakarta admitted that he was not hurt.
"So thank God, I never got hurt, it was the person who bullied me, I was Fatihahi (recited al fatihah). If Fatihah wasn't enough, no yasini (letter Yasin)," he said while entertaining the congregation present.
In the recitation combined with the Advanced Indonesia Concert event, Gus Miftah explained that he was not a volunteer for the presidential and vice presidential candidates, but he was someone who admired Prabowo Subianto.
