Inpres Road Project Completed, Randublatung – Getas Already Smooth

INFOKU, BLORA - The construction of the Randublatung – Getas road for around 10 km with funding from the PUPR Ministry's Road Presidential Instruction of IDR 53 billion has been completed. 

Head of the Blora DPUPR, Samgautama Karnajaya, when confirmed, stated that today, Friday (29/12/23), the Provisional Hand Over (PHO) or handover had been completed.

"Today the PHO, after the PHO the road was handed over to the Blora Regency Government," he said.

He explained that a few days ago when he inspected the field, the remaining work was still ongoing.

"Essentially the work has been completed, for road braking there is still a maintenance period of 365 days," added Samgautama.

Indeed, he continued, there are still 2.7 km remaining, and it is hoped that we will be able to receive funding from the center again in 2024.

"Hopefully in 2024 there will be another disbursement of funds from the center,"
he said.

It is known that to complete the Randublatung - Getas road, which was built with a Presidential Instruction funding scheme of IDR 53 billion, hard work is needed.

The reason is, with the existing natural conditions, according to the contract the concreting of the 10 km long road must be completed by December 31 2023.

The Regent of Blora, H. Arief Rohman admitted that the construction of the road that opens Blora access to the Ngawi gate, East Java is like Bandung Bondowoso.

"It's really Bandung Bondowoso, because it has to be done in two months," he said, when inspecting the location recently.

The Regent is optimistic that the work will be completed according to plan, as well as the road construction carried out by the Ngawi District Government is currently underway.

"So it will be connected, and when it is complete, next year's Eid (2024) travelers will be able to try the Ngawi road through Randublatung," said Regent Arief.

As conveyed by the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the PUPR Central Java - DIY Road Hall, Arief Agus Setiawan, the construction of the Randublatung - Getas road is divided into two work packages. Two months must be completed.

It was conveyed that the funds came down at the end of October and the contract was for two packages. One package was won by PT Graha Mustika Mulia, the road length is 5 km with a contract amount of IDR 27 billion.

Meanwhile, there is another package, 4.4 km long, with a contract value of IDR 24.5 billion with an implementation time of 63 days.

For road construction, it is rigid concrete with a thickness of 25 cm, with single reinforcement. Initially the road width was between 3 - 5 meters, it will be widened to 6 meters, there will be a shoulder.

According to Regent Arief Rohman, extra effort is needed to realize the construction of the Randublatung-Getas road through the Presidential Instruction scheme. It took almost 7 years to pass.

"We are relieved, our long-standing dream of being able to build a road section from Randublatung-Getas has finally come true. "Since I became Deputy Regent, after 7 years of continuous lobbying, the road was finally built." said the Regent.

The Regent admitted that the proposal to build the Randublatung-Getas road was initially barely included in the central government's development plans. (Endah/KOM)
