IDR 1 Billion More Than PMI 2023 Fundraising Month in Blora

INFOKU, BLORA - The 2023 Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Monthly Fundraising for Blora Regency which was carried out for 3 months met the target, reaching a total of IDR 1,090,420,603.00. 

The Regent of Blora, H. Arief Rohman appreciated the results of the 2023 PMI fundraising month which was chaired by the Blora Police Chief, AKBP Agus Puryadi.

He hopes that the funds collected can be used for social activities.

"Thank you, Mr. Police Chief and all members of the PMI Monthly Fund campaign who have worked well. "We hope that PMI can develop programs that are really needed by the community," he said, on the sidelines of the closing of the 2023 Blora Regency PMI funding month, at the Hall of the Regent's Official House, Saturday (9/12/2023).

It was stated that PMI is a partner of the District Government in implementing social and humanitarian programs. For this reason, the Regent, who is familiarly called Mas Arief, asked PMI to continue to innovate and synergize with other institutions. Such as Baznas, Social Services, BPBD and others.

According to him, the success of this month's PMI funding was not solely due to meeting targets, but rather to training social sensitivity in fostering a sense of humanity in society.



"We want the next one in 2024, the General Chairperson of the PMI Fundraising Monthly Fund to be Dandim Blora. "Alternating with the Police Chief," he continued.

On the same occasion, Police Chief Agus Puryadi revealed that this fundraising was carried out for three months.

"We will carry out this month's fundraising for three months since I was appointed Chair of the PMI Funding Month from 29 August - 9 December 2023," he explained.

He stated that the collection of more than one billion rupiah in funds was not solely his own. However, this is a form of cooperation between all parties and all Blora residents.
