Cepu Main Market is Completed, Reopened, Waiting for Central Instructions

INFOKU, BLORA –  It can be seen that the new Cepu  Main Market  building  has been completed.

However, it is not yet operational, so  traders  cannot occupy it yet.

This is because  the Blora  Regency Government ( Pemkab )   is still waiting for approval from  the central government  . Estimated early next year.

Meanwhile,  traders  affected by the development want no  zoning . The stalls are divided according to location before being repaired.

Secretary of the Cepu Main Market Association   Repto said that they had not yet received clarity regarding  the placement  of traders  who were previously affected by the development.

Until yesterday (20/12),  traders  were still occupying  temporary kiosks  not far from  the new  main market building.

"We haven't received any information regarding  the placement  of the  finished stalls ," he said.

Repto admitted that  traders  had been invited to communicate. However, this was limited to negotiations regarding the socialization of  placement procedures .

The district government wants the  market  stall  buildings  to have zoning divisions . Meanwhile,  traders  want the location where they used to sell to be occupied again.

“Like when I  sold  food, it used to be located on the side. Traders also asked for no  zoning ," he said.

According to Repto, the reason it has not been occupied is because the audience for requests from  traders  and  the district government  is still tough.

So, we cannot yet decide on  the placement  of  traders .

The new building  can currently accommodate around 256  traders . Previously, around 114  traders .

Head of the Regional Market Division (Kabid) of the Blora Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Service ( Dindagkop UKM )  Margo  Yuwono told the press that his party was still carrying out socialization of  placement procedures . Then, the schedule  for placing  and dividing the  stall buildings  has not yet been carried out.

"Estimated next year (distribution). "Currently, we are still socializing the procedures," he explained.

Margo said that to determine the date, his party was still waiting for approval from  the central government  .

This is because the construction of the main market comes from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) worth IDR 2.7 billion.

"Because the construction uses TP (Pestoning Task) funds, we are still waiting for the center," he concluded. Endah/ IST )
