Traders complained about these buildings because they were thought to be standing without permission and made traders in the market quiet.

Head of the Cooperative and SME Trade Service (Dindagkop UKM) Blora Kiswoyo said it was true that there were complaints from market traders regarding illegal buildings. From this complaint, finally there was an effort to control it.

According to him, the building is known to stand on land belonging to the local government.

Therefore, his party tried to bring order. At least, there are 21 illegal buildings standing in the city's main community market.

"We then wanted to put things in order, because the building stands on land belonging to the regional government. Initially, we gave them a choice, namely, dismantle it or what? "The owner instead chose to hand it over to the government with an MoU agreement between traders and the government through BPPKAD," he explained.

His party stated that they also did not know the origin of why illegal buildings could stand on the market area which is land owned by the regional government.

Who gave permission and who built it is not yet clear.

"Essentially, why the building was permitted at that time is still a question for us," he explained.

“We don't know why they dare to build a permanent building like that. If we leave things like that, traders like us will suffer losses. "Those who are illegal are busy, but those of us who clearly pay fees are quiet," added the man who did not want to be identified by his real name, Saturday (11/11). (Endah/ IST )
