Council members are busy returning money, Blora DPRD Narsum's honorary budget is considered unreasonable

INFOKU, BLORA –  Members of the Blora DPRD flocked to return money to the regional treasury.

The DPRD previously received this budget as a resource honorarium (narsum) in the 2021 APBD.

The Blora District Prosecutor's Office (Kejari) is still investigating. It is suspected that the process of using the budget is unreasonable.

Head of the Regional Revenue, Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPPKAD) Blora, Slamet Pamudji, confirmed that there was a refund from members of the DPRD several months ago. The money then goes to the regional treasury (kasda).

"The return is related to the excess narsum honorarium. "For this matter, the case is being investigated by the Blora Prosecutor's Office," he explained.

Mumuk, his nickname, said that he had been summoned as a witness at the Blora Prosecutor's Office.

Meanwhile, regarding the amount of money that had been returned, his party could not mention it in detail.

Including anyone who has returned.

“For details, just one door to the prosecutor's office. "I was summoned as a witness," he added.

Head of the Intelligence Section (Kasi) of the Prosecutor's Office, Blora Jatmiko, explained that his party was still investigating the case.

So, we cannot provide detailed data regarding the money that has been returned.

"We also can't convey it yet. "Because it is still under investigation," he said.

The investigation began on March 30 after the Blora Prosecutor's Office received a letter from the Central Java High Prosecutor's Office.

Ask his party to collect data (puldata) and collect information material (pulbaket). Several witnesses have been summoned from the ranks of the district government and DPRD.

Chairman of the State Financial Monitoring Society (MPKN) Sukisman stated that he would continue to monitor the legal process in this case.

Based on information, the order to return the board's narsum honorarium was based on an assessment of impropriety.

“The reasonable limit for the board's salary fee is 20 hours per month. "Anything more than that is considered unreasonable," he said.

According to him, this was confirmed when MPKN asked members of the provincial DPRD and other district DPRD about this.

So, it seems that the Blora DPRD's narsum honorarium is reckless.

"As far as we know, as of today, dozens of council members have returned more than IDR 2 billion to Kasda," he added.

In the 2021 APBD, it was recorded that 45 council members received honoraria ranging from tens to hundreds of millions.

The honor was received for being a narsum. In detail, in a month being narsum reaches more than 20 hours. Some reach 40, 80, 90, up to 104 hours a month.

It is known that the alleged misappropriation of the Blora DPRD's narsum honoraria was reported to the Central Java High Prosecutor's Office on January 19 2023.

It is suspected that there is a leak of documents related to the recapitulation of the DPRD's narsum honorarium in 2021 which cost up to IDR 11 billion. (Endah / IST )
