INFOKU, BLORA - Principal of SMP Negeri 1 Bogorejo, Puryanto gave his appreciation to class IX student of SMP Negeri 1 Bogorejo, Senly Irene Manasae, who has special talent and dared to appear in the final of the 2023 Blora Sinden Idol competition.
This was conveyed by Puryanto after seeing Senly's performance at the Sinden Idol event which was held at the Hall of the Blora Regent's official residence, Tuesday (7/11/2023) evening.
Puryanto said that Senly Irene Manasae, who can be called Senly, showed extraordinary talent in Javanese sound art (sinden). Sinden, he said, is an important part of Javanese culture.

According to Puryanto, Blora Sinden Idol 2023 is an arts event that promotes traditional Javanese art, so that it will become a forum for the younger generation, especially Blora children, to develop their talents in local arts and culture which are increasingly rarely seen in this modern era.
Puryanto emphasized the importance of preserving and maintaining Javanese culture, which is a valuable part of regional identity. He expressed his concern about the modernization trend which tends to forget cultural heritage.
"We must not forget where we come from and what makes us unique. Javanese culture is an invaluable treasure for us, and we must protect it with passion," said Puryanto.

Senly's motivation for participating in the Blora Sinden Idol competition was because of her deep love for traditional art, especially sinden art. Senly realized that sinden art was increasingly marginalized in popular culture.
His love for this art encouraged him to take part in Sinden Idol in the hope of helping to preserve and re-popularize Sinden art.
He wants traditional Indonesian art to remain alive and appreciated by the younger generation.
With Senly Irene Manasae's participation in the Sinden Idol competition, SMPN 1 Bogorejo hopes that more and more students will be inspired to be creative and maintain the richness of Javanese culture, while making this event a platform to explore unique talents among the young generation in Blora Regency.
