INFOKU, BLORA – Traders felt the economic impact directly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
This also affects local revenue (PAD) from the levy sector for market traders and street vendors (PKL) in Blora.
As a result, there are market levy arrears in 2020-2021 reaching IDR 3 billion.
Head of the Department of Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Dindagkop) UKM Blora Kiswoyo said that the achievement of levies in 2020-2021 or during the pandemic is still a problem.

“This year we are increasing the pull. However, the 2020 arrears still exist. "During the pandemic, there were two years of arrears because the traders weren't selling," he said.
This condition causes arrears in levies from traders to reach IDR 3 billion.
“The system is still in arrears. That's our difficulty. Cannot be deleted. Unless there is a whitening of arrears," he explained.
He admitted that he felt sorry for the traders. Because, at that time, the majority of traders did not sell.
So, it will be very difficult if they are asked to pay the levy.
“Because it wasn't selling, it was immediately withdrawn, so it was clear there were difficulties. So , we are trying to have a relaxation scheme. For example, it may not be whitewashed like taxes. "We will discuss it first," he said.

He also underlined that the target for 2023 was optimistic that it would be achieved.
