INFOKU, BLORA -As an effort to overcome the rise of various fake news or information ahead of the year of democracy which could divide Indonesia, socialization of a peaceful and digital campaign for students was held at the sports field of SMAN 1 Blora Monday (1/11/2023).
This was conveyed by the Deputy Principal for Public Relations (Waka Humas) Tri Yuli Setyoningrum in his speech as well as being the host of a socialization event and digital and peace campaign talk show with the theme Voice of Democracy, One Voice for Our Future.
The socialization event and talk show on the peace and digital campaign were attended by Erwin Syahruddin, legal practitioner and lecturer at Bhayangkara University, Jakarta, and Kariyono, Head of the Public Communication Information Division (Kabid IKP) of the Blora Regency Communication and Informatics Service.

"This activity is also part of enlivening the year of democracy at SMAN 1 Blora by holding the OSIS Chair Election (PILKETOS)," explained the Deputy Head of Public Relations.
According to him, holding this socialization is an effort for students to learn more about the ethics of peaceful democracy, one of which is implemented through digital media like today.
Furthermore, Erwin Syahruddin explained that peaceful campaigns are an aspect of learning democracy in various contexts, for example policy making and general election politics.
"If we look at the indicator of democracy, namely elections, then in the school environment we will face the election of the student council chairman, which is a miniature state executive institution at SMAN 1 Blora," explained Erwin Syahruddin.

Erwin Syahruddin explained several peaceful campaign strategies, one of which was campaign ethics in accordance with applicable norms and laws by giving an example, namely to campaign without providing fake news or hoaxes.
In closing this activity, the Deputy Head of Public Relations at SMAN 1 Blora hopes that this activity will make students digitally literate and able to campaign or voice their aspirations for democracy, carried out peacefully, one of which is through digital media. (Setyorini/KOM)
