Blora Wins Healthy District Award from the Ministry of Health

INFOKU, BLORA - Blora Regency has succeeded in winning the title of healthy district in 2023. 

The Swasti Saba Padapa Award or "Healthy City" award from the Ministry of Health was received directly by the Regent of Blora, Arief Rohman.

The award was handed over directly by the Minister of Health, Budi G. Sadikin, at the Kempinski Grand Ballroom Grand Indonesia West Mall, Jalan Kebon Kacang Raya, Blok D 6 Central Jakarta, Tuesday (28/11/23) evening.

Alhamdulillah , we are very grateful and proud to receive this award. This award is the result of all of our hard work for the people of Blora. "For this reason, let's increase various activities and programs in the health sector," said the Regent.

The Head of the Blora Health Office, Edi Widayat, said a similar thing. He expressed his gratitude for this achievement,

"This is all the result of hard work together with various related parties," he said, Wednesday (29/11/2023).

It was stated that a Healthy City Regency (KKS) is a condition of a district/city that is clean, comfortable, safe and healthy for residents to live in.

This is achieved through the implementation of several integrated arrangements and activities agreed upon by the community and regional government.

There are nine arrangements that are assessed to get the healthy district award, continued Edi Widayat.

The nine arrangements include residential areas, public infrastructure and traffic facilities and transportation services.

Apart from that, healthy mining areas, healthy forests, healthy industry and offices and healthy tourism. Likewise, in the area of ​​food and nutrition, healthy and independent community life and healthy social life.

"This award must continue to be maintained because a decent and healthy life is everyone's right," added Edi Widayat.

It was noted that a number of districts in Central Java received similar awards. Namely Pemalang, Banyumas, Brebes, Kudus, Temanggung, Wonosobo, Pati, Grobogan, Klaten, Jepara, Sragen, Boyolali, Banjarnegara. (Setyorini/KOM)
