BKN officially changes the retirement age limit for civil servants to 65 years


INFO KU, JAKARTA -   The retirement age limit  for  civil servants  has officially been overhauled by the State Civil Service Agency ( BKN).

Previously  the minimum retirement age  for  civil servants  was 56  years, but now the BKN  has officially changed it   to 58  years .

The latest provisions regarding  the retirement age limit  for  civil servants are officially regulated through the BKN  Circular Letter  .

With this Circular, now  civil servants  have the opportunity to work over the age of  60 .

BKN  has set  a maximum retirement age  for  civil servants  of up to 65  years .

The  retirement age limit rules  for  civil servants are regulated in BKN  Circular Letter   Number K.26-30/V.119-2/99.

In this letter  , BKN  sets 3 categories  of retirement age limits  based on  the position  of each  civil servant .

The following are the categories of  retirement age limits  for  civil servants  regulated by  BKN :

-  The retirement age limit of  58  years  is intended for  civil servants  who hold  functional positions  of first expert, junior expert and   functional positions .

-  The retirement age limit  of 60  years  is intended for  civil servants  who hold  functional positions  as intermediate experts.

-  The retirement age limit  for  civil servants  is 65  years , intended for  civil servants  with   main expert functional positions .
