Alleged Fictitious Kunker Corruption, Former Chairman of the Blora DPRD Named as a Suspect

INFOKU, BLORA  - The Blora District Prosecutor's Office has named former Chairman of the Blora DPRD Bambang Susilo as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of fictitious work visits (kunker) for the 2014 to 2019 fiscal year. 

Head of Intelligence at the Blora Prosecutor's Office, Jatmiko, said that the determination of the suspect against Bambang Susilo was carried out on Tuesday (17/10/2023). "Today is October 17 2023," said Jatmiko. 

In the 2014 to 2019 fiscal year period, there were 64 work visit activities as evidence of accountability that was submitted by the Blora Regency DPRD Secretariat to the prosecutor's office investigators.

In 64 pieces of evidence of responsibility for these activities, the name Bambang Susilo as the Head of the Blora Regency DPRD carried out work visits outside the fictitious area.

During work visits outside the area, the daily money received reaches IDR 203,360,000, representation money IDR 80,600,000, transportation IDR 32,282,950, accommodation costs IDR 179,142,500. So the total money amounts to IDR 495,385,450.

Previously, the Blora District Prosecutor's Office (Kejari) confiscated money from alleged corruption in the regional working visit (kunker) budget at the Blora DPRD Secretariat work unit for the 2014-2019 period.

Based on the information that has been gathered, dozens of witnesses have provided statements regarding alleged corruption in the Blora DPRD working visit (Kunker) for the 2014-2019 period.

The witnesses were members of the DPRD from that period, as well as members of the Blora DPRD Secretariat (Setwan).

This alleged corruption in fictitious work visits was revealed by a member of the Blora DPRD who allegedly did not attend many work visits but his name was still listed as attending.

Within a month, the Blora DPRD for that period carried out work visits three times.

Kunker participants receive facilities in the form of transportation money, attendance money and others. (Endah IST )
