INFOKU, BLORA - The Blora Regency Government is targeting a reduction in the extreme poverty rate this year by 0.41 percent.
The reduction agenda is focused on 51 villages in the extreme poor category. One of the strategies is to maximize the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs of companies in Blora.
Blora Regent Arief Rohman explained that eradicating extreme poverty requires the collaboration of all parties. For that, he asked for help and support as well as a commitment from the CSR Forum to eliminate extreme poverty.
"The task of reducing the poverty rate is 0.41 percent this year. Again, we are ganged up on together,'' he said during a Coordination Meeting in the Bappeda Blora room Monday (3/7).
It is known, in Blora a poverty alleviation coordinating team (TKPK) has been formed which is chaired by the Deputy Regent.

Collaborating with companies in the regions to reduce extreme poverty will make the target achievable quickly.
"I appreciate and thank TKPK Blora Regency and all parties involved for their hard work so far," he said.
Deputy Regent of Blora Tri Yuli Setyowati revealed that there are 51 villages that have become loci for eradicating extreme poverty. These villages have been identified as needing intervention. The prepared strategy is to cooperate with companies in the area.
"The Blora Regency Government will continue to increase efforts to eliminate extreme poverty by involving all parties. Primarily the CSR Forum,''he said.
Ethics, as he is known, explains that there are several things that need to be done to intervene in extreme poverty. Namely, repair of uninhabitable houses (RTLH), the need for clean water, electricity, latrines, children not going to school (ATS), disabilities, individuals not working, and stunting.

He explained, there were at least around 63 institutions that were partnered with. Starting from regionally owned enterprises (BUMD), BUMN, banking, private companies, and other parties have been invited to participate. They were brought together for a coordination meeting.
“Eradicating extreme poverty is a national program. For this reason, we invite all companies in Blora Regency to help us eradicate extreme poverty,'' he said. (Endah / IST )
