INFOKU, BLORA - A number of potential investors plan to use the former Blora Main Market land to build a hotel.
The land has not been used since 2019. So far the area is only used when there is an event.
Regional Secretary Komang Gede Irawadi said the discourse was still in the review process. Until now, the potential investors have not made submissions directly to the district government.
"Just chatting. It still needs to be studied too. The discourses have also been around since 2019,'' he said.

Meanwhile, Blora Regent Arief Rohman told the press that the land use for the former Central Market was still in the discussion stage.
However, there are potential investors who are already interested in constructing buildings on the land.
"Meanwhile, this is still for events. Regarding the arrival of investors, further discussion is needed with potential investors. It could be that one building will contain malls, cinemas and hotels in one,” he explained last Saturday (15/7).
Apart from that, continued Arief, one of the lands that has not been maximized is the former golf course in Kunden Village.
Some of the existing buildings at the site have not been maintained in recent years.
There are former golf courses that are also interested, we are trying to offer this, he explained.

Aufal, one of the residents, said he was still confused about the planning for the vacant lands in Blora.
According to him, the regency government must make efforts to optimize vacant land that has the potential for Blora development.
