INFOKU, BLORA - A number of representatives from the community leaders of Keser Village, Tunjungan District, Blora Regency reported the Local Village Head Inter-Term Selection Committee (PAW).
They suspected that there were irregularities that occurred at the stage of registering for the 2023 PAW Head of Keser Village election which was carried out by the committee.
The alleged irregularities were outlined in a piece of paper which was submitted to the Village Community Empowerment Service (DPMD).
The letter was signed by five residents on behalf of community leaders in the village of Keser, which contained two points, namely, there were indications that the committee was not neutral and there were data irregularities in the files for prospective PAW candidates.
The Head of the Village Community Empowerment Division at the Blora Regency PMD Service, Heksa Wismaningsih confirmed that representatives from the Keser Village community came to PMD and complained about alleged violations committed by the PAW committee.
"The point is complaining that there are several problems related to the election process for the PAW village head," he said.
Heksa explained that the process for selecting the PAW village head was fully carried out by the village government.
"Earlier we answered in general, that the process for selecting the PAW village head was fully carried out by the village government, in this case the BPD formed a committee. If there are problems, it would be better to settle them at the committee level first," he explained.
Meanwhile, the head of the PAW committee, head of Keser Village, Gagat T, when confirmed, denied the allegations of irregularities committed by the committee.

He said the committee had carried out the process of the village head's PAW stages in accordance with procedures based on the results of village meetings.
"We from the committee have worked according to the procedure and we were appointed by the committee according to the deliberations in the village," he said. (Endah)
