INFOKU, BLORA - The Blora Police will soon investigate the role of the village head (kades) regarding his son who was involved in a beating case at a cafe in the Banjarejo District area, on Saturday (22/4/2023) early last morning.
Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of the Blora Police, Adjunct Police Commissioner (AKP) Supriyono, said that his party would develop the extent of the role of the village head (kades) of Kebonrejo, Banjarejo District, who was suspected of wanting to flee his son to Jakarta after the incident occurred.
The reason is, after the incident occurred, the unscrupulous village head allegedly drove his family including his son who was involved in the beating by using a village alert car to flee to Jakarta via the Kalikangkung toll road, Semarang.
"Later we will investigate it further and develop it. If there is a crime, we will process it, but it is still being investigated by investigators regarding the involvement of the village head," said Supriyono when met by journalists at the Blora Police Headquarters, Friday (28/4/2023).
In the case of the crime of beating up, the police have named four perpetrators as suspects.
The four perpetrators include Temon (24), Candra alias Ucil (31), Mukenthel (35) and Bagus (41). The motive for the beating Supriyono revealed that the motive for the beating that was carried out by Candra and his friends against the victim Zainul Muttaqin stems from a misunderstanding at a nightclub in the Banjarejo District area.
"The motive was a misunderstanding at the Juadek cafe, then one of the perpetrators contacted by phone, to his friends and came and looked for the person in question but there was none because he had gone home," he said.
Supriyono explained that until now, the victim was still undergoing intensive care at the Sultan Agung Hospital in Semarang.
The police also have not been able to take statements from the victim as a result of the incident that happened to him.
"The victim is currently still undergoing treatment at the Sultan Agung Hospital in Semarang because he is in a coma, so we cannot ask for a statement for the victim, but we will take information from other witnesses, and those who were at the TKP or those who saw or friends of witnesses or the suspect. ," he explained.
Other perpetrators in police pursuit Even though they have named four suspects, the police are still pursuing the perpetrators who are also suspected of being involved in the beating.

"We have mapped the other perpetrators, some have fled out of town to Bandung for Probolinggo but our team is still pursuing them," he explained.
The perpetrators face up to 9 years in prison As a result of committing the crime of beating up which caused the victim to suffer serious injuries, the suspects face up to 9 years in prison.
"We apply Article 170 of the Criminal Code paragraph 2 second, the penalty is 9 years, because the victim suffered serious injuries," said Supriyono.
The arrest process was also colored by a chase on the Kalikangkung toll road, Semarang, on Thursday (27/4/2023) around 01.00 WIB.
This is because one of the suspects named Candra alias Ucil wanted to flee to Jakarta with his family.
"There was a chase, but we managed to secure it without any resistance," he said. He said Candra alias Ucil was the son of the village head of Kebonrejo, Banjarejo District.
"One of the perpetrators was indeed the son of a village head in a village in Banjarejo District," he explained.
