INFOKU, BLORA - Blora Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office, through the Water Resources (SDA) Sector, has started dealing with the avalanche of the tributary of the Wulung River, in Ngembak Hamlet, Gabusan Village, Jati District, since Thursday (24/5/2023) Then.
Handling was carried out in collaboration with various parties. Excavators from DPUPR Blora have been brought to the site to start site clearing work and excavation for foundations for the construction of gabions to be installed.
Head of Blora PUPR Service Samgautama Karnajaya, through the Head of Water Resources (SDA) Surat, for the handling of landslides in Gabusan, his party is collaborating with BBWS Bengawan Solo and Gabusan Village Government, as well as local residents.

"Together with the technical team, we will continue to be in the field to help direct the work on handling the avalanche in Gabusan so that it is according to what has been planned," said Surat, in Blora, Saturday (27/5/2023).
The form of this collaboration, he continued, was assisted by heavy equipment and technical personnel from DPUPR Blora, BBWS Bengawan Solo provided approximately 300 gabions. Meanwhile, the village provides split stone materials and labor.
This work is fully carried out in a labor-intensive mutual cooperation by the workforce of local residents,'' he explained.

The landslide locations that will be handled are 2 points, each landslide location in the Dukuh Ngembak cemetery area and the Dukuh Ngembak bridge avalanche which is located in a tributary of the Wulung river. (Setyorini/KOM)
