Wooow ...... The Ngawen-Kunduran Axis Road is Severely Damaged

INFOKU, BLORA – From direct observation, it can be seen that the Ngawen-Kunduran provincial road is badly damaged. Even though the route is often crossed by large and heavily loaded vehicles.

The Blora Regency Government is seeking the assistance of the Central Java Provincial Government (Central Java) to handle it. Improvement of road infrastructure will have an impact on reducing poverty.

Mustakim, one of the residents, complained that the Ngawen-Kunduran road had not been handled.

it has an impact on traffic flow that is not smooth, dusty, and muddy when it rains. In addition, several times he encountered punctured driver tires.

"Severely damaged, yesterday my friend's bicycle tire punctured (on the Ngawen-Kunduran road)," said the resident from Sarimulyo Village, Ngawen District.

Blora Regent Arief Rohman said that his party was applying for assistance to repair several provincial roads whose conditions were damaged and residents often complained about.

Apart from provincial roads, during the coordination meeting with the governor, he also proposed the construction of roads in forest villages.

This is because the poverty rate in Blora Regency is still high, namely 11.53 percent in 2022.

One reason is because there are many poor villages in the middle of the forest that do not yet have access to good infrastructure.

So, he continued, it was difficult for residents to carry out economic activities. Such as transporting crops, and accessing education to health.

“In Blora, 47 percent of the area is forest. The majority of our extreme poor live in forest areas, of which 138 out of 271 villages are in forest areas,'' he explained during a coordination meeting to evaluate the acceleration of poverty reduction with the Governor of Central Java recently. (Endah/ IST )
