Two Jati Blora Residents' Houses Burned, Suspected STB Television Exploded

 


INFOKU, BLORA - A house fire occurred in Blora, Central Java on the third day of fasting for Ramadan 1444 Hijriah, Saturday (25/3/2023).  

The fire occurred allegedly because STB TV exploded into two houses in Dukuh Cerme RT 05 RW 01, Tobo Village, Jati District, Blora Regency.

The victims of this fire are named Surasmin (55) and Suwarno (40) whose houses are side by side. 

Member of the Blora Regency BPBD Rapid Reaction Team (TRC), Agung Tri, revealed that his party received reports from local village officials if a fire occurred. 

"At 09.30 WIB, that there had been a fire in 2 houses in Tobo Village," said Agung Tri, Saturday (25/3/2023).

Agung Tri also explained the cause of the fire incident which devoured the two houses. 

"According to the statement, the neighbor heard a 'dug' sound (possibly from STB TV) from the victim's (Surasmin) house, and in a short time the fire spread from the middle house to spread to the front and back of the house," he said. 

The fire spread quickly and spread to Suwarno's house, then the owner of the house shouted for help to local residents who flocked to extinguish the fire with makeshift tools.

Responding to the report, not long after that the firefighters from the Blora Regency Satpol-PP, the firefighters from Randublatung, and the water supply truck from the Randublatung Damkar arrived at the location to put out the fire. 

"The loss is estimated to be around Rp. 200,000,000.00. And the fire was caused by the STB TV exploding," said Agung Tri. (SetyoriniIST )
