INFOKU, BLORA –The policy is enforced during Ramadan fasting where nightclubs are not allowed to operate.
Satpol PP will routinely monitor violating entertainment venues. If there are business actors who are determined to open, they will be prosecuted.
"Due to approaching Ramadan, places for karaoke cafe entertainment will be closed," said Blora Satpol PP Head Hendi Purnomo.
Hendi gathered entertainment entrepreneurs last night (20/3) at the youth sports, culture and tourism office (dinporabudpar).
Based on Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 5 of 2017, to be precise, article 44 contains provisions regulating working hours.

“Business owners already understand and the regional regulations are clear, that business is permissible. The principle is clear for the benefit and development of the regional economy. However, the principle is not to interfere with religious and social norms," he said.
According to Hendi, entertainment venues will routinely operate during Ramadan fasting. If a recalcitrant entrepreneur is found to be open, the officers will secure it.
"Respect people are carrying out worship, don't try it, it can be closed or taken to court," he explained.

He admitted that he had brought around seven unruly businessmen to court. As long as they can be reminded, they will tolerate it. According to him, however, entrepreneurs also have an impact on the economy in the region.
"Previously (a week ago), we took seven business actors to court, we respect it, if it's too fast, I'll be sorry. If you can still remind us, we remind you not to be vulgar until it goes viral. We also humanize entrepreneurs,” he explained.

According to him, if there is no firm action will cause turmoil in society. The impact could spread to the district government. This is anticipated so that one month of Ramadan there will be no turmoil in the community.
"Our task is only to take action, so as to invite tourism and the PMPTSP service," he explained.
The number of karaoke recorded at Dinporabudpar last year was 68 cafes and karaoke entertainment venues. While licensing is still minimal.
"Currently licensing is easy, the business is also not a big risk," he explained. ( Endah / IST )
