A number of APKs were controlled by the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP).

Head of Satpol PP Blora Hendi Purnomo said the removal of banners and billboards had nothing to do with general elections (election).

This action is a routine agenda in cleaning props that are installed in areas that are not in accordance with the provisions. This is because areas that are considered red zones must be sterile from props.

"It has nothing to do with the election. Not only political party banners, but also other banners that are not in accordance with the applicable regulations,'' he said.

Head of Public Order, Peace and Community Protection for Satpol PP Suradi added that his party carried out these activities every working day. However, the current focal point is still in the Blora part of town.

There were several things that resulted in the props being released directly by his party. First, permits and installation of props must be at least 25 meters from public areas.

"Second, what is meant by the red zone is above the bridge, in front of offices, schools and places of worship," he said.

Currently the roads included in the red zone are Jalan Pemuda and Jalan Ahmad Yani, Blora District. This coincides with the enforcement during the fasting month to appease the people who are fasting during Ramadan.

“Not only political party banners. There are also cigarette advertisements and others. Yesterday there were thirty that we took in the city,''he explained.  (EndahIST )
