Really .... Citilink Stops Flying at Ngloram Airport


INFOKU, BLORA - Citilink airline flights from Ngloram Blora Airport to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta or vice versa, are currently abolished.  

There are no flights at Ngloram Airport today, which is the first time since January 2023.

"Yes (the first time there have been no flights since January)," said the Head of the Dewadaru Airport Management Unit (UPBU) Office, Ariadi Widiawan to reporters, Wednesday (22/3/2023).

Even though currently there are no commercial flights, Ariadi ensures that his staff is ready to serve flights of any type.

"Regarding the flight of the Citilink aircraft today, what we can convey is that Ngloram Airport is always ready to serve flights by prioritizing the safety and comfort of service users. In addition to scheduled flights, Citilink also serves unscheduled flights, for example, charter flights and emergency landings," he explained.

However, his party was not willing to explain in detail the reasons for Citilink airlines stopping their flight schedules at Ngloram Airport.

"For further information, please contact Citilink airline," he said.

"We as airport operators respect all airline decisions and always hope that many airlines can fly from Ngloram Cepu Blora Airport," he added.

For information, Citilink airline had opened a flight route from Jakarta's Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to Ngloram Blora Airport and vice versa, on 27 January 2023.

During a period of two months, flights were carried out twice a week, namely every Wednesday and Friday.

In fact, on January 27, four police generals who had Blora blood took the time to fly to Ngloram Airport using a Citilink ATR72-600 aircraft.

The four police generals include Inspector General of Police Eddy Hartono, Brigadier General Mashudi, Brigadier General Mardiono, Brigadier General Mas Gunarso.

Not only that, the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo also took the time to be at Ngloram Airport to welcome and take off Citilink flights.

Ganjar Pranowo's presence at Ngloram Blora Airport also gave a signal that the flight to Cepu Blora could continue to operate actively.

The number one person in Central Java Province appreciates the steps taken by the Blora Regency Government and the Citilink airline which are continuing to make efforts to reactivate flights to Blora Ngloram Airport.
