Chairman of the National Zakat Agency (Baznas) Blora Sutaat said, providing space for business capital assistance to residents to let go of their poor status by running MSMEs. Capital assistance targeting the poor is still productive.

The local Baznas distributed venture capital assistance to 72 underprivileged citizens who were MSMEs.

The nominal value is IDR 1.5 million per beneficiary. This business capital is to get out of poverty. This is because poverty is still a major problem in Blora Regency.

"Not only asking or giving, but there are benefits to be empowered," said Sutaat when met at his office yesterday.
