INFOKU, BLORA – Indeed, the weather has been bright and hot the last few days, but this March is predicted to be the peak of the rainy season.
The hot temperature is due to the activity of Mount Merapi in Central Java.
However, predictions of potential rainfall still need to be watched out for. This prediction was conveyed by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) through the Blora Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).
Head of BPBD Sri Widjanarsih said, based on predictions from the Central Java BMKG, humidity in several areas, including Blora, had the potential for light to heavy rain.

"Clear or cloudy weather has no influence from the activity of Mount Merapi. However, the hot temperature does come from the volcanic activity,''he explained.
BPBD appealed to the public to be aware of the possibility of rain accompanied by wind causing trees and billboards to fall.
He asked residents to always be prepared for the peak of the rainy season, both in terms of health and agriculture.
“Weather predictions do not necessarily match direct events. For example, a few days ago the prediction was light rain but the conditions were hot, uh suddenly it rained at night. Because of that, we need to understand and be careful in our activities,'' he explained.
