INFOKU, BLORA –Yesterday (15/3), sedulur sikep from various regions gathered at Pendapa Pengayoman Ploso Kediren, Randublatung District.
Sounds of mortar and songs are heard alternating with weighing the gunem or deliberating on various life issues.
They simultaneously commemorated the Struggle of Samin Surosentiko who was arrested by the Dutch on March 15, 1907.
After the weighing, the commemoration is continued with brokohan or parading of agricultural products and various foods.
Also available were 1,907 torches lit last night (15/3).
Resident of Samin Sedulur Sikep Gunretno said March 15 was a historic day. Because, the day Samin Surosentiko was arrested by the Dutch.

Arrested not a person who committed an act that is not right, but a struggle against the Dutch in silence.
"Children and grandchildren agree that once a year it is commemorated at Pendapa Pengayoman. This pendapa is a place for mbah Samin's burial," he said.
Gunretno explained that this momentum was joined by the sikep brothers from various regions such as Blora, Bojonegoro, Pati, Kudus to hold discussions or weigh gunem.
They discussed the latest issues which were adapted to the teachings of Samin Surosentiko.
"All of the Tuntunggunem reported that there was a discussion, it was used nicely ," he explained.

In addition to the weighing of the gunem, there are also brokohan which are escorted from Pendapa Penganyoman to the field carrying torches.
Then in the middle of the field there is a special torch numbering 1,907 which forms the life and struggle of Samin Surosentiko.
“Giving a message to his children and grandchildren, the fighting spirit must continue to be held. And, children and grandchildren must have sensitivity to problems that develop,''he explained.
The village head of Ploso Kediren Juwadi admits that he fully supports Samin Surosentoko's agenda every year in his village. Thus, everyone knows and learns from the struggles of the characters from Blora.
"When the pendapa was formed in 2021, thank God it supports little by little to be able to learn to play mbah Samin," he explained. (Endah / IST )
