INFOKU, BLORA – Even though the Poultry Slaughterhouse (RPHU) building has been completed, it cannot be used yet. Because it needs additional facilities and waiting for regulations.
The Blora Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Service (DP4) claims that there are interested parties willing to manage it.
Head of the Blora Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Service (DP4) Raden Gundala Wejasena said the regulation as a legal umbrella for the use of regional assets is still being discussed by the DPRD. Because of this, until now the RPHU has not been able to operate.
“Utilization requires regulations in the form of regional regulations or regional regulations. There is a legal basis for the collection in the form of rent or fees,'' he explained.
Gundala revealed that currently the building and some equipment to operate the RPHU are sufficient and sufficient.

However, there are still drawbacks. Namely, the installation of wastewater treatment (WWTP), cold storage for storing post-slaughtered meat, and the manpower to operate it.
“Regional revenue will later become a regional regulation. At least in 2023 this must be done,'' he explained.
According to him, there are already parties who want to take advantage of the RPH. However, there is no regulation, utilization cannot be realized.

One of the parties who, according to him, are interested in cooperating with the central National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas), with the Z-Chicken business program.
However, this has yet to be ascertained considering that there is no legal basis governing the use of the building.
"If there is cooperation with the private sector or a third party, later there will be those who will procure the staff. Starting from butchers, turners, packers, we all need people," he explained.

The Commitment Making Officer (PPK) for the Construction of the Blora DP4 Poultry Slaughterhouse, Rasmiyana, revealed that the addition of facilities to support the RPH this year was only for the construction of a bridge. There have been no additional supporting facilities.
"This year, only bridge rehabilitation is budgeted at around Rp. 200 million," he explained. (Endah/ IST )
