INFOKU, BLORA – The construction work package should be tendered earlier.
The reason is, last year (2022) many projects worked on by partners were not completed on time, which resulted in fines.
"Many have been fined, the total is not yet known. We are still signing proof of huge fines," said the Head of Public Works and Spatial Planning (DPUPR Blora Samgautama Karnajaya).
Samgautama explained, having noted that many projects were delayed, in the end they had to pay fines.
The value of the fine that must be paid by partners varies, some are IDR 1 million, IDR 4 million and IDR 5 million.
"Partners who propose (disbursement) must pay a fine first, so they don't want to. This means that the administration at PU is finished, partners are also finished," he said.
He explained that there was no extension of the 2022 work until next year. This is because in the regions there are no regent regulations (Perbup) and regional budget regulations (Perda) that regulate them.
"Indeed, the presidential decree (Presidential Regulation) allows it, but there must be a derivative in the form of a regional government regulation, it does not exist in the regions, nor does the Regional Budget regulation regulate that," he said.
Samgautama revealed that the infrastructure budget at DPUPR is currently around IDR 160 billion.
According to him, currently, several work packages are already in the tender process at the LPSE. Hopefully work can be done earlier.
"Almost all plans have been auctioned in December, the hope is that by mid-January the planning contracts, surveys, two months of planning will be completed," he said.

During the LPSE.Blorakab period, 4 infrastructure projects have been recorded, namely the construction of the two Kunduran-Goa Terawang road sections, the construction of the Blora Police Station building, and the preparation of land for the Blora District Attorney's office.
Previously, during the plenary session of the DPRD, the Gerindra and PKS fractions through their spokesman Darwanto explained that the construction of infrastructure facilities at OPD experienced delays in work, not even being completed according to the time of the work contract. The cause of the delay was triggered by the planning process at the related OPD. ( Endah / IST )
