INFOKU, BLORA – Four well fields that will become oil potential in Blora will be explored again, after the signing of the collaboration between Pertamina and Kvell Blora Energi.
The regency government hopes that, in addition to drilling new wells, the old wells in the vicinity are also optimized and it is estimated that one to two years can start.
"We also ask for the stages of optimizing old wells in the area to be explored as well," said Blora Regent Arief Rohman after the plenary session of the DPRD at the end of last December.
The four fields that will carry out joint oil and gas operations include the Kedinding (Kedungtuban), Lusi (Randublatung), Metes (Banjarejo) and Petak (Randublatung) fields.
The Regent confirmed that there was a joint signing of the management of the four oil and gas fields, with the new drilling KSO system.
"Yes, yesterday we had the signing of the new Kvell KSO, this is for the Kedinding area, (Lusi, Metes and Petak)," he said.
The signing of the collaboration was held at the East Indonesia Regional Headquarters, Monday (05/12) in the presence of the East Indonesia Regional Director, Endro Hartanto, Kvell Energy CEO, Jeff Steketee, Kvell Blora Energi President Director Wahju Gozali, and Blora Deputy Regent Tri Yuli Setyowati.
According to Arief Rohman, even though the collaboration has been carried out, there are still a number of stages that must be passed before the exploration process is carried out.
He hopes that oil and gas exploration can optimize old wells in the surrounding area.
"The stages are still long, yes, at least one to two years before they can be (executed), because they have to go through the existing stages," he said.
With this exploration plan, it is hoped that oil production in the Blora region can be increased again.
"Hopefully later in the framework of achieving the oil production in Blora, we can increase the production," he said.
Previously, the Cooperation Contract Contractor (KKKS) Pertamina EP together with Kvell Blora Energi signed a Joint Operation (KSO) to realize the target of 1 Million Barrels of Oil and 12 BSCFD of Indonesian Gas in 2030.
To meet the realization of this target, Pertamina Regional East Indonesia Subholding Upstream through the Pertamina EP PSC Contractor and Kvell Blora Energi signed an Oil and Gas (Migas) KSO in four fields in the Blora Regency area. ( Endah / IST )
