INFOKU, BLORA – This year the Blora Regency Government has prepared a budget of Rp. 450 million for general election organizers.
The budget for preparations for the 2024 Simultaneous Elections. The Blora General Election Commission (KPU) is plotted at IDR 300 million, while the General Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) is IDR 150 million .
Head of the Blora Regional Revenue, Financial Management and Assets Management Agency (BPPKAD) Slamet Pamudji said that for the upcoming election, the district government has allocated Rp. 450 million. ''This year we only budgeted for socialization,'' he said.
Mumuk, as she is familiarly called, explained that the budget was a grant from the Blora Regency Government to the local KPU and Bawaslu.
His party admitted that they would budget more during the upcoming 2024 elections and local elections. However, not sure the amount. Because it's not officially discussed yet.
If next year it will already be the cost of implementing the regional elections. It may take around IDR 50 billion. But that's only a proposal for 2024," he explained.

It is known, the costs of holding the upcoming 2024 simultaneous elections will be financed by the central government, provincial governments, as well as district governments.
"The point is we also have funding from the center, there is also funding from the province, so it's rather light. But the figures of Rp. 50 billion to Rp. 70 billion are too heavy. But because that's the mandate of the law, it's still being implemented," he explained.
Blora KPU chairman Muhamad Hamdun confirmed that he received a grant of around Rp. 300 million from the district government this year.
Regarding next year's budget, Hamdun admitted that he did not know the certainty, even though his party had submitted an application.

"For 2024, our proposal is Rp. 44 billion to Rp. 45 billion, but it has not been discussed with the TAPD (local government budget team)," he explained.
The chairman of the Blora Bawaslu, Lulus Mariyonan, admitted that he had not received any news about the amount of the value that would be received from the district government.
