INFOKU, BLORA – The flood that occurred last Tuesday (29/11) night, caused the bridge in Perataan Village, Jiken District to break.
The bridge is the main access for residents to the Jepon-Jatirogo highway. The public works agency is still coordinating the certainty that it will be rebuilt.
Yulianto, a resident of Prataan Village, admitted that currently the activities of residents going to the Jepon-Jatirogo highway are hampered.
Residents must turn around and pass through alternative bridges. "Yes, the main route in this village is that (the collapsed bridge)," he said.
According to him, the incident occurred when it rained heavily on Tuesday afternoon (29/11).
Previously the bridge had collapsed, but there was no treatment. Heavy rains caused the flow of water in the river to be swift, eventually the connecting bridge collapsed.

"We hope the bridge will be rebuilt soon, so that residents' activities can return smoothly," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of the Bina Marga Division of the Public Works and Spatial Planning (DPUPR) Blora Nizamudin Al-Huda explained that currently they are still coordinating policy decisions.
Because, there are several bridges broken due to flash floods.
“Tomorrow (today, Red) we will confirm the follow-up. I need to coordinate first regarding post-flood handling," he said.
From some of the information gathered, the bridge in Gombang Village, Bogorejo District, was also affected by residents' activities. The bridge was built using bamboo arrangements. (Endah/ IST
