INFOKU, BLORA –As of today the moratorium on village head elections in 2023 is not clear
Although there is no clarity yet, the Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Service (Dinas PMD) Yayuk Windrati admits that he has budgeted for next year's Pilkades.
The moratorium or postponement of the Pilkades is planned for around October 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024. The Pilkades moratorium is planned to apply throughout Indonesia.
However, until now, this regulation has not been explained in a circular letter or the like.
"According to regulations, it will be held in 2023, the important thing is that it has been budgeted (the important thing is that it has been budgeted, ed). If there is no change in regulation, God willing, it will still happen," he explained Monday (26/12).
The Head of Administrative Division for Dwi Village, Edy Setyawan, added that there is uncertainty about postponing the Pilkades in 2023 because they have to wait a long time to carry out the Pilkades if they are postponed.
Meanwhile, the acting village head should be taken from civil servants (PNS).
However, if it is carried out next year, it is feared that it will be affected politically because it will enter the stages of simultaneous elections in 2024.
"If PJ (acting, ed) takes too long, it is clear that it is not effective," he explained.

It is known that the tenure of the 19 Village Heads in Blora will end on August 17, 2023.
Meanwhile, the other eight village heads will expire on October 11, 2023. This will be adjusted to the date of their inauguration as village heads.
"The budget at the agency is ready. For socialization and others. That's the budget for the bankeu in his village. Whatever the decisions of the district government and DPRD, it will definitely be the best," he explained. (Endah/ IST )
