INFOKU, BLORA – You can see a quite lively barongan procession walking along the protocol streets on Saturday (11/26) towards Kridosono Field. Communities spilled over on the sides of the main roads.
Many performers of the barongan arts were involved from 16 districts in the 273rd anniversary of Blora. Attractions last from morning to night.
The attractions are more complete with the variety of barongan characterizations.
Like joko lodra, reflections include untub, nayantaka, and gainah. Welcomed again, the jaranan dancers are combined with the strains of tones coming out of a combination of traditional musical instruments.
Do not forget the attractions of bachelor ganong, figures who complement the art of barongan.
Head of the Blora Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism Service (Dinporabudpar) Kunto Aji explained, barongan is a culture that has been recognized as belonging to Indonesia, as well as typical of Blora.

According to him, the barongan agenda could trigger the cultural development of the area.
"Refreshingly, that barongan is a regional culture," he explained.
According to him, the current development of barongan has covered every sub-district. Including children who have known since elementary school. "It has been played by children scattered in many districts," he explained.
Prayoga, one of the people in charge of the barongan event, explained that each district was welcome to send two groups of barongan.
So that there are 32 groups filling the barongan festival agenda at Kridosono Field. Each group contains a minimum of 30 people.
