INFOKU, BLORA – The Blora DPRD supports Sambongrejo Village, Sambong District, to become the mainstay tourism sector in the region.
With tourism based on culture and local wisdom, the DPRD is optimistic that it can become the go-to destination for tourists.
The Chairperson of the DPRD, Dasum along with the Deputy Regent of Blora and the FORKOPIMDA Staff Present at the Opening of the Tourism Village Product Exhibition throughout PAKUDJEMBARA (Pati, Kudus, Jepara, Rembang, Blora) at the Sambongrejo Tourism Village with Sedulur Sikep, at the Sedulur Sikep Hall on Saturday (11/19 ) then.
"You also support and strive for the tourism sector in the future to become one of the mainstay sectors in Blora," he said.

He revealed, Culture-based tourist villages would be able to attract tourists to visit and learn about the Sedulur Sikep tradition.

"This culture-based Sambongrejo Tourism Village, tourists will be invited to interact and learn noble values with Samin residents or known as Sedulur Sikep," he explained.
In addition, according to him, tourists will be presented with mortar art performances, batik classes, special culinary offerings, and various other interesting activities.
He also hopes that this festival can inspire other villages to form tourist villages, so that they can participate in supporting the economy of the people in Blora.

It should be noted, Sambongrejo Village, Sambong District won first place at the Blora Tourism Village Festival, 2022. Deputy Regent of Blora, Tri Yuli Setyowati hopes that the tourism village festival can be an inspiration for other villages to continue to develop their tourism potential.
“Although this is the first time it has been held, there are already around 18 villages participating. Hopefully next year will inspire other villages to develop tourism potential in their respective villages. We have 271 villages that have their own tourism potential," said Mbak Etik.
