Only 4,495 people in 8 villages enjoy Jargas


IN FOKU, BLORA  As many as 4,495 units of gas network (jargas) have just been installed in eight villages in the south near CPP Gundih, which has not been felt by all residents.

The Blora Regency Government hopes that there will be an expansion of the distribution of gas network in several villages and urban areas of Blora.

Blora Regent Arief Rohman said he had visited the Directorate General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to try to expand the jargas village in Blora. Not only in rural areas, but also in urban areas.

"Hopefully in the future the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources together with Pertamina and PGN can increase the area of ​​Jargas in Blora Regency," he said.

Arief explained, according to the previous year's data, jargas had served 4,495 household customers and one MSME customer.

Scattered in the villages of Sumber, Mojorembun, Wado, Pulo, Tanjung, Kemantren, Kapuan and Medalem.

The village is close to the PT Pertamina Central Processing Plant (CPP) Gundih Block well in Sumber Village, Kradenan.

“So that the benefits (expanded Jargas) can be felt by a wider community. Moreover, the gas source is also from Blora itself," he explained.

Lasmuji, a resident of Sumber Village, said that he used to be a Jargas customer. Because he moved house even though he was still in the same village, he couldn't enjoy it again. Jargas can not be moved.

"I think it's the same, depending on usage, if you use it too often, the pay will also increase," he explained.

Sukarti, a resident of Sumber Village, admitted that he also received the flow of Jargas. In a month, he admits that he only spends around IDR 50,000 to IDR 60,000.

According to him, cooking using jargas is more economical and safer than using gas cylinders.
