INFOKU, BLORA –found that the sale of subsidized fertilizer exceeds the highest retail price (HET) which is an agricultural problem that still shackles regional farmers.
In addition, the problem of the availability of subsidized fertilizers and detailed plans for group needs (RDKK) need to be addressed.
Coordinator of the Association of South Blora Forest Farmers Group (GKTHBS) Exi Agus Wijaya said farmers in the field felt that buying subsidized fertilizer was too expensive, like farmers in Ngaliron, Kalisari, Temetes, Jatiklampok.
Farmers complained that subsidized fertilizers should have been purchased for Rp. 112,509 per sack, but in fact they had to pay for a higher value. That is Rp. 150 thousand to Rp. 250 thousand.
"In the field, the farmers are shouting, selling a lot of fertilizer on top of the HET," he explained yesterday (8/11).

This prompted several farmer groups to hold hearings with the DPRD and the government in the plenary room of the council yesterday (8/11).
The combined farmer groups (gapoktan) presented several points of the problem shackling farmers in the regions.
"We are trying to use the constitutional right of sharing with policy makers," he explained.
According to Exi, the lack of subsidized fertilizer stocks means that farmers have no choice. Even though the price is expensive, they still buy it.

Farmers' poverty is not caused by rats alone, but the trade system is not in favor of farmers.
"So it's strange that policy makers don't know that fertilizer is being sold beyond the HET. It doesn't care about or even participates in part of this unfair fertilizer distribution trading system. We need real action, not just rhetoric," he said. (Endah/ IST )
