This statement also followed up on a video of one of the residents of the Todanan sub-district which went viral and said that there was a shortage of fertilizer in the Todanan sub-district area.
It is expressly stated that the video is just a hoax or fake news.
This was confirmed after Forkopincam Todanan together with DP4 Blora Regency held a Coordination Meeting of the Fertilizer and Pesticide Supervision Commission, Thursday (13/10/2022) afternoon to evening.
In a meeting attended by the Head of BRI Todanan Unit, Village Heads in Todanan Sub-district and Gapoktan in Todanan Sub-district, it turned out that data was found that currently the stock of fertilizer in the Todanan sub-district is still sufficient, there are still 1000 tons of fertilizer.
In his speech, Representative from DP4 Slamet Istiono said that farmers are heroes and the government is ready to help in the availability of subsidized fertilizers.
Slamet said that currently there is still a stock of 1000 tons of fertilizer, however, there are still 400 farmer cards that have not been taken by farmers at BRI Todanan.
The farmer card will later detect the fertilizer quota and the maximum land area of two hectares. It is hoped that farmers will immediately take and activate farmer cards.
Hoax Video: The perpetrator apologizes
Meanwhile, the Todanan Police Chief, Iptu Sulbekti, who attended the meeting, said that after an investigation, it turned out that the video made by one of the residents was just a hoax.
In fact, the residents did not even have agricultural land and the purpose of making videos was to make them viral so that they could benefit from the video application.
However, the viral video has caused public unrest.
"That's why we held this meeting, it turned out that the video was just a hoax that disturbed the residents. And the individual residents have acknowledged and apologized," said the Todanan Police Chief.
The police chief told residents not to convey or spread false news (hoax) that could disturb residents.
