INFOKU, BLORA - Head of the Dewandaru Airport Management Unit (UPBU) Office, Ariadi Widiawan, explained why there were no flights at Ngloram Airport.
The reason, according to him, is that the Ngloram Airport authority is still focusing on two issues, namely the market and the airline.
Ngloram Airport actually has an existing market and is formed. It can be seen from the pax (passanger/passenger, ed) of Citilink aircraft before Halim Perdanakusuma Airport closed, the average passenger was 60 percent filled.
"In fact, Cepu people have not received tickets several times," he claimed.
Ariyadi explained that efforts were continuing. He was instructed by the director general of transportation to open a route to Pondok Cabe Airport, Tangerang, in coordination with Wings Air. And reached on August 5 last. However, at that time, according to him, the moment was not right.

Ariyadi recounted that the president asked the minister to lower the price of plane tickets, finally with a price of around Rp. 1.6 million, down from the initial Rp. 1.8 million.
However, the purchasing power is still low, because from Solo Airport the ticket price is around Rp 700 thousand to Rp 800 thousand.
His party has been ordered by the Director General of Transportation to coordinate with the regional government, and together with the regent prepare the market. The Regent also contacted the regional heads around Blora.
"Then there will also be a letter from the director general to help fill in passenger pax from Ngloram Airport, the letter is for all of Indonesia," he said.
Ariadi also admitted that his party had also been to PPSDM Migas. It turned out that PPSDM asked when planes could fly from Ngloram Airport.

"That's why it has to be connected, between the plane and the market. Ngloram Airport does have a pax. We see that there are a lot of PPSDM," he explained.
He believes that the opening of flights again will have an impact on investment.
