INFOKU, BLORA – In order to suppress inflation due to the increase in fuel prices, one of the solutions prepared by the Blora Regency Government (Pemkab) is to provide basic necessities to traders. There are about 500 traders in total.
Blora Wisnu Bambang Wijanarko, Head of Trade at the Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Dindagkop UKM) Trade Office, said that basic food assistance to traders was specifically for street vendors (PKL).
"Later, food assistance will be provided to traders. Especially street vendors. It's at the district level," he said.
The provision of basic needs is intended to increase capital after it is reduced due to the increase in the price of several types of fuel.
The aid is budgeted from the allocation of 2 percent of the central transfer fund as a solution to reduce the impact of rising fuel prices.
"We are dropping the aid, so that the traders can increase their economic strength," he explained.

For the target, he said that he would provide assistance for the basic ingredients to 500 traders throughout Blora Regency.
The plan will be distributed starting next October. "This month is not enough. So, starting next month," he explained.
The food will be distributed in the last three months of this year. Regarding the amount, Vishnu still cannot mention the exact number. Because, there is no certainty and is still under discussion.

"Later on the anniversary or after the implementation in the face of nataru (Christmas and New Year). Because prices for basic necessities usually go up,” he added.
Elderly BLT
Meanwhile, yesterday, two beneficiary families (KPM) received Rp 500 thousand at home.
The money is a combination of direct cash assistance for the transfer of fuel subsidies (BLT BBM) for September and October of Rp 300 thousand and for BPNT September Rp 200 thousand.
The rights for the two people were delivered directly by team officers from the Jati Subdistrict Post Office, because both of them had difficulty coming to the place of delivery of aid.
So, the officers delivered to each house in Doplang Village, Jati.

"The criteria that are prioritized for delivery to home are KPM who are sick, elderly, and disabled," said Head of the Blora Post Office, Windha Saktiana.
The program has been planned by the Blora Post Office. If there is a request to deliver directly to KPM's house, his party is willing. With notes according to the criteria previously mentioned.
Regarding the mechanism, it can be done during the disbursement process according to the schedule for each community or after the delivery according to the schedule has been completed.
"It will depend on each district. Can go directly to the location when the delivery schedule. It could also be that after the schedule is complete, everything will be delivered to the KPM house according to the criteria," he explained. (Endah/ IST )
