The Head of Jiken Sector Police, Iptu Zaenul Arifin, revealed that this activity was carried out to ensure that there was no misuse of subsidized fertilizers in the Jiken District area, especially when farmers needed it.
"We empower members, especially Bhabinkamtibmas, to monitor the distribution of subsidized fertilizers. The aim is to prevent misappropriation of the fertilizer distribution,” said Jiken Police Chief.
The Jiken Police Chief said that currently, the stock of fertilizer in the Jiken area is still sufficient for the needs of farmers.
"We continue to increase supervision over the distribution of subsidized fertilizers to prevent stock shortages. At the same time, we want to ensure that the distribution of fertilizer really reaches the farmers," he added.
The police chief advised, in meeting the fertilizer needs of farmers, distributors and retailers are asked to always pay attention to and comply with applicable regulations.
