This is the Integrated Animal Husbandry Model of Cooperation between PT ABGS and UGM

 


INFOKU, BLORA -Modern integrated cattle farming from upstream to downstream in Blora Regency has now entered a new phase.

On Monday (7/3/2022), Blora Regent H. Arief Rohman accompanied by Blora Deputy Regent Tri Yuli Setyowati attended a coordination meeting with Investors PT. Andini Blora Gama Sejahtera (ABGS) and Gadjah Mada University (UGM).

After the coordination meeting was completed, the Regent witnessed the signing of an operational cooperation or KSO between PT ABGS by President Director Teguh Budi Pramono and UGM by Vice Chancellor for HR and Assets UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Agus Kironoto, at the UGM Hall.

The Regent hopes that in the future the modern livestock program will be integrated from upstream to downstream in Megeri Village, Kec. Kradenan, this can soon be realized and successful, so it can be a pilot.

"The local government hopes that this program will be successful and this can be used as a pilot. If this is successful, we will copy and paste several areas in Blora that have potential, so we will encourage other sub-districts for that later," explained the Regent.

"But what is central to the pilot, the term starts from feed and so on, namely in this 300 hectares of land, UGM lands, this will be our pilot," he added.

He conveyed that UGM has a Special Purpose Forest Area (KHDTK) managed by the UGM Faculty of Forestry, which is located in the Blora and Ngawi areas with an area of ​​almost 11,000 hectares.

"We want how this (KHDTK) can provide a benefit for the community in the KHDTK area, because around the area there are still many villages that are still classified as poor and need to be assisted to become developed villages," he continued.

He explained, not only livestock, but other sectors capable of supporting integrated animal husbandry will also continue to be encouraged. So that it can provide benefits to society.

"Our dream is from upstream to downstream, starting from the feed, fattening, yes, it can even get to the processing, processing into sausage nuggets, we imagine getting there," said Arief Rohman.

"In addition to animal husbandry, we must also encourage the community, perhaps in the potential of SMEs, tourism, and so on. We ask UGM to help map out in the field," he continued.

The Regent also hopes that UGM will be able to help map out the condition of the community in terms of economic, social, and so on, as well as the potentials that exist in Megeri Village.

Arief Rohman also welcomed the support from UGM and PT ABGS so that Blora Regency could be more advanced in the future.

After the signing of the KSO, UGM Deputy Chancellor for Human Resources and Assets, Bambang Agus Kironoto, hopes that this collaboration can produce the best possible results.

"Hopefully the cooperation that has been established today will get the best possible results, so that the efforts made can also continue better," he explained.

While the President Director of PT. ABGS, Ir. Teguh Budi Pramono, also hopes that this synergy with UGM is expected to advance the livestock and agriculture sector in Blora, so that the benefits can be felt by the community.

Meanwhile, UGM Vice Chancellor for Education, Teaching and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Djagal Wiseso Marseno, M.Agr, also supports the collaboration between UGM, PT ABGS, and the Blora Regency Government in order to build Blora.

"These three main stakeholders are expected to be able to build the welfare of the people of Blora," he said.

Prof. Djagal also hopes that in the future together with PT ABGS, cattle farming in Blora in particular can be more advanced, considering that Blora has the potential for a large number of cattle.(Setyorini/KOM)
