"We will schedule the first phase at the end of March, and coincidentally, our contract will end in November 2022, so we still have plenty of time," Wahyu said in a press statement at the Randugunting Dam, Japah District, Thursday (24/3/2022).

While the second stage of delivery is planned to be carried out in November 2022.

Later there will be solar panels which in the next second stage will be handed over.

"The second stage will be handing over the supporting facilities plus solar panels, so we can finish our contract on November 7, 2022, from the contractor to us PHO (Provisional Hand-Over), later from the PHO period there will be a one year FHO maintenance period ( Final Hand Over)," he explained.

He hopes that this rainy season, the Randugunting dam can absorb rainwater optimally in order to achieve the spill elevation target of 94.27 meters.

"We hope that in the Randugunting area it will continue to rain, so for the stage after impounding, we have to reach the spill elevation and then continue to lower it, then we will check for the stability of the dam," he said.

Wahyu estimates that the water discharge in the Randugunting Dam is currently at 90.5 meters with a volume of around 5.15 million cubic meters.

"If the elevation is at 94.7, the volume is 8.61 million m, but if the elevation is at 96.5, it is 14.42 million m," he explained.

Even so, the existence of the Randugunting dam on a conservation basis can already be utilized by the surrounding community.

"Another benefit is that tourism is already running and it's very different when it's still dry here with water, the air is very different, so now the air is cool," he explained.
