Pertamina Subholding Commercial and Trading Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting ensured that the oil leaking in the pipeline was not finished fuel oil (BBM).
This means that the oil cannot be used for vehicles.
"What is clear is that it is not fuel, so it cannot be (used for vehicles)," Ginting said in a statement to reporters on Wednesday (16/3/2022).

Meanwhile, PEP Cepu Field Manager Agung Wibowo said that his party was continuing to work to resolve the impact of pipe seepage that occurred in Blora on Tuesday (15/3/2022).
"Shortly after the indication of a pipe crack, pumping was stopped and the block valve was closed on the Menggung MOS pipeline," Agung said in a written statement.
With this action, the fluid flow can be stopped immediately.
He explained that the pipe cracks had been closed by installing clamps at night.
As of Wednesday morning, the team is still monitoring the repaired pipes and other pipelines to ensure there is no more seepage.
"The team focused on checking the repaired pipes and also carrying out cleaning activities around the incident area," he explained.
"For the flow of tributaries, from the beginning, an oil boom has been carried out to make it easier to draw using a vacuum truck," he continued.
Agung said that the cleaning activity is targeted to be completed today. In handling incidents, PEP Cepu Field coordinates with the local government and always prioritizes aspects of human safety, security, and the environment. (Endah/ IST )
