INFOKU, BLORA -The Board of Management of the Indonesian Civil Service Corps (Korpri) of Blora Regency handed over a donation of Korpri Cares for Semeru worth Rp.113,140,000.00, Thursday (13/1/2022).
The assistance was handed over directly by the Chairman of the Blora Regency Korpri Management Board, Komang Gede Irawadi, who is also the Regional Secretary of Blora Regency.
The donation was symbolically handed over to the Regional Secretary of Lumajang Regency, Agus Triyono at the local Regent's Office.
"We came to Lumajang Regency to convey the mandate of donations in the form of money from members of the Blora Regency Korpri to help communities affected by the Semeru eruption in Lumajang," said Komang Gede Irawadi, Chairman of the Blora Regency Korpri Management Board.
Meanwhile, the Lumajang District Secretary, Agus Triyono, expressed his gratitude to all levels of the local government and the outside community who came to Lumajang to help people affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru.
"Thank you and the highest appreciation from the Lumajang Regency Government for the ranks of the Regency / City Government and ASN as well as the community for all of the empathy that has been given to the Lumajang community," said Agus.

So far, said Agus, Semeru has become a part of daily life for the people of Lumajang, especially for residents at the foot of Mount Semeru.
However, at this time it has also traumatized the community because the disaster that occurred was truly unexpected.
The Lumajang District Secretary revealed that from the beginning of the eruption of Mount Semeru the volunteers and donations that came to Lumajang were extraordinary.
This is a manifestation of the extraordinary cooperation of the Indonesian people.
"I am very grateful to the volunteers and donations that have come from other districts/cities, as well as from outside communities that have been given to Lumajang residents who have been affected by the eruption, it is very extraordinary," he said.
He hoped that the assistance that had been given to the Lumajang community could be useful and ease the burden for residents affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru in Lumajang. (Endah/KOM)
