INFOKU, BLORA -The Blora Regency Government is seriously committed to alleviating slum areas in the local area.
One of them, Sonorejo Village, Blora District, proposed the handling of slums in Blora Regency during the Habitat Day Competition of Central Java Province in 2022.
Deputy Regent of Blora Tri Yuli Setyowati, was present in person to present the competition proposal in the 2nd Floor Hall of Building D UTC Semarang, Tuesday (18/1/2022).
For about an hour, Deputy Regent Tri Yuli was in the room making a presentation and question and answer discussion with the jury.
In this activity, the Deputy Regent was accompanied by the Head of the Dinrumkimhub Blora, Bappeda Blora, and the Kotaku Program Assistant in Blora Regency.
"Today's activity we presented the proposal before the jury related to the Habitat Day Contest. We took part in a competition to eradicate slums, especially in Sonorejo Village," explained the Vice Regent when met after giving the presentation.
His party hopes that in the future Blora Regency can pass the selection and be able to win the competition.
So that with this support, later efforts to handle slums in Sonorejo Village can take place optimally.
"I hope that by participating in the Habitat Day competition, we can win, and hopefully Blora can be included in nine categories and God willing, as a result, we will get an additional budget from the provincial budget," he said.
He conveyed, in the presentation session, Blora Regency not only explained the points related to slum alleviation, but also related to the positive impact on the community.
Meanwhile, the Kotaku Program Assistant for Blora Regency, Lilik Trilaksono, hopes that with the presentation of the proposal and Blora's participation in the competition, it will be able to eradicate the slums in Sonorejo Village.
"Today's activity was a presentation by the Deputy Regent of Blora related to the Habitat Day competition for Central Java Province. Hopefully the results of this presentation can be useful and can produce Blora with the tagline Sonorejo towards Slum-free in 2022 can be realized," said Lilik.
He also explained why Sonorejo Village was proposed in the competition.
"It was proposed in the Village Sonorejo because Sonorejo was in 2021 by decision of the Minister PUPR designated as shabby treatment by obtaining allocation of funds 1 billion in 2021 and Alhamdulillah already done," said her .
He continued, so that the area of slums in Sonorejo Village has now succeeded in decreasing.
It is hoped that with this habitat day competition, the alleviation of slums in Sonorejo can be completely resolved.
"From the area of the Sonorejo Village which is 23.45 hectares of slum, by the end of 2021 it has become 7.10 hectares of slum, with this Habitat Day competition the target is that by the end of 2022 the Sonorejo Village will be 0 slums," he said. ( Endah/IST
