ASN Involved in Alleging Extortion at Randublatung Market Blora Strict Actions

 


INFOKU, BLORA –Strict sanctions against state civil servants (ASN) in theBlora Regency Government who carry out illegal levies (extortion) in the market, will be carried out bythe Regent of Blora, Arief Rohman.

According to him, there are a number of people in the market who are suspected of extorting money from traders. For example, what happened in the market area of ​​Randublatung.

"I ask that regarding this market, I am serious about making improvements, so if there are extortion, we will take firm action against our employees," said Arief Rohman at his official residence, yesterday .

In line with the regent, the Acting Head of the Blora Regency Trade, Small and Medium Business Cooperatives (Dindagkop UKM), Luluk Kusuma Agung Ariadi said his party would coordinate with the Blora Police regarding the alleged crime.

"Our steps in the near future will be coordinating with the Blora Police regarding the alleged extortion and we are trying to coordinate with the Wulung market manager, is there really any evidence related to my members and so on," Luluk said when met by reporters at the Blora Regent's official residence.

Luluk said the police had evidence that led to the alleged crime. Hence, he will also not hesitate to summon his members who are suspected of being involved in alleged extortion.

"Because we have information that there is already evidence at the police station, and we will also report it to internal coaching," he said.

Luluk said the market stalls were built by the Ministry of Trade, but have not been handed over to the district office, so they do not have the authority to charge fees.

"So the point is for kiosks and we have conveyed in the socialization that it is free," explained the former Cepu sub-district head.

Just to note, the alleged illegal levies (extortion) of buying and selling kiosks in the market area of ​​Randublatung Blora began to be investigated by the police.

Head of the Blora Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasatreskrim), AKP Setiyanto, said that he had collected a number of data to investigate the alleged crime.

"We have investigated the alleged extortion at the Kobong Market, Wulung Village, Randublatung sub-district, Blora district," said Setiyanto at the Randublatung Market, last Wednesday .

The market has about 99 stalls where traders who want to have these kiosks are required to pay around Rp. 45 million to Rp. 50 million rupiah. (Endah/ IST )
