INFOKU, BLORA -Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Mochamad Basoeki Hadimoeljono visited the Randugunting Dam in Kalinanas Village, Japah, yesterday.
This visit was to see the progress of the dam and prepare for its inauguration by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.
During his visit, Basoeki Hadimoeljono also took the time to ride a water duck around the reservoir.
"We will finish on the 3rd tomorrow (today, Red). Hopefully it can be finished. Live fireplace. After the 4th (January) hopefully it can be inaugurated Mr. President. Tomorrow, there will be a coordination meeting with the Presidential Secretariat," he explained at the location yesterday.
Basoeki added that the inauguration will take place this week. The date has not yet been determined.

According to him, with the dam's capacity of 14.42 million cubic meters, it is hoped that it will be useful for Blora, Rembang and Pati Regencies as raw water, irrigation and tourism.
He continued, the construction of the Randugunting Weir had been planned for a long time. Since he became the head of the section in the 1990s, but can only be built now.
"We know that Blora is prone to water. There are several dams built. For the construction of the Randugunting Dam, the budget is Rp. 885 billion," he said.

It is known that the Randugunting Dam project is a national project from the PUPR Ministry. Implemented by the Directorate General of Water Resources through the Pemali Juana River Basin Center (BBWS). The value is IDR 858.7 billion from the 2018-2022 multi-year state budget.
As is known, the construction was carried out by PT. Wijaya Karya (WK) together with PT Andesmont Sakti (KSO). The contract was signed on November 8, 2018.

With an implementation time of 1,460 calendar days and a maintenance period of 365 calendar days.
The development process was financed directly from the Central Budget with an area of 192.111 hectares of land being acquired (Perhutani KPH Mantingan land), 1,198 hectares (land owned by a state-owned company), and 32.402 hectares (community land).

The Randugunting Dam project takes up 236 hectares of land in two villages, Kalinanas Village and Gaplokan Village, Japah. The inundation area reaches 187.19 hectares. The normal storage capacity is 10.40 million cubic meters of water.
"For the fulfillment of clean water, Blora will get 100 liters per second. Rembang and Pati get 50 liters per second. At this time, it has begun to fill the water," he concluded. (Endah/ IST )
