INFOKU, Cepu, BLORA -The People's School Program launched by President Prabowo Subianto since March 2025, has now begun to be implemented and Blora has entered its first period.
Namely, building a free boarding school for high school level and equivalent which is aimed at children from underprivileged families.
The construction was carried out by the Ministry of Social Affairs in synergy with the Ministry of Public Works and the Blora Regency Government in Balun Village, Cepu District, by utilizing the former SDN 4 Balun building which was merged several years ago.
The building was polished, repaired and renovated to suit the needs of the learning space.
Starting from classrooms, laboratories, male student dormitories, female student dormitories, teacher dormitories, prayer rooms and toilet facilities.
To find out how much the people's school development has achieved. Blora Regent Arief Rohman, conducted a surprise inspection accompanied by the Cepu Sub-district Head, Thursday (26/6/2025) afternoon.

He then asked the project implementer to install a cover so that at night the students would not be disturbed by mosquitoes.
"Yes, this time we want to know directly how far the process of building the people's school building is. Alhamdulillah, the readiness is already more than 76 percent, and we ask that early July, the first week of July can be completed and inaugurated, in preparation for the new school year which will start the second week of July. Both the preparation of students and teachers," said the Blora Regent.
The Regent also expressed his gratitude to President Prabowo Subianto for this people's school program.
"Hopefully it will be useful for the people of Blora Regency, especially those in Cepu District in order to support Cepu Raya. Thank you," said Regent Arief.
Meanwhile, Hartono, the executor of the people's school project, said that the construction achievement had reached 76.76 percent and had accepted new students for the 2025-2026 school year.
"The project is 76.76 percent complete. The target is to complete it on July 10, 2025 according to the contract. This school consists of a boys' dormitory, girls' dormitory, separate boys' and girls' toilets, teachers' dormitory, place of worship, classrooms, and laboratories. As well as a ceremonial field and other supporting facilities," said Hartono, the executor of the Nindya - Adhi KSO service provider.
According to him, the construction of this public school uses a budget from the Directorate of Education Support Infrastructure Work Unit, Directorate General of Strategic Infrastructure, Ministry of Public Works.

Worth a total of Rp322 billion for 65 schools spread across 24 provinces. One of them is in Cepu Blora, Central Java.
"Currently, there are 50 prospective students who have registered. All of them are from underprivileged families. They will be divided into 2 study groups or 2 classes for the high school level.
