Advancing the Cattle Sector is a Serious Effort by the Blora Regency Government

 


 

INFOKU, BLORA -  The leadership of PD Dharma Jaya, one of DKI Jakarta's BUMDs visited Blora Regency to review the potential of cattle farms in Blora, Thursday (27/1/2022).

PD Dharma Jaya is engaged in the business of providing beef and various processed products, because one of the things that the Blora Regency Government is partnering with is in realizing the seriousness that continues to be carried out to advance the cattle breeding sector.

This is considering that the cattle population in Blora Regency is very abundant and is the largest in Central Java.

With this potential, the cattle breeding sector needs to be taken seriously by involving various stakeholders.

The arrival of the Director of PD Dharma Jaya, Raditya Endra Budiman, together with the Director of Business Feldiansyah, and his entourage, was received by the Regent of Blora H. Arief Rohman, at the Regent's Office House, Thursday (27/1/2022).

"We, Mr. President Director, we really want to focus on cows, but there must be a clear off-taker later, how to buy it, what technique, gratefully if possible later, if you want to buy there is an RPH here or processing here it's even more we hope," he said .

Arief Rohman also conveyed that the potential for livestock in Blora should be encouraged and assisted. Including by cooperating with BUMN, BUMD to universities to advance the livestock sector in Blora.

"We encourage villages that have potential, we will require Bumdes to be one of the cattle business units," said Arief Rohman .

He also encouraged the possibility of BUMN, BUMD, to be able to assist these efforts, including universities starting from UGM and others with animal husbandry faculties.

In addition, it is also hoped that the results of cattle breeding from Blora will be in accordance with the standards required by the market.

"In the meantime, there are 200 communal breeders, but later we want to increase it, starting from the standards, how to feed, fattening techniques and how to market them," he added.

Arief Rohman also hopes that the abundant potential for cattle farming in Blora can be worked out optimally. So that later the cattle from Blora will not only be sent to other areas in a condition that is still alive, but can be in the form of meat or other processed products.

Meanwhile, the President Director of PD Dharma Jaya explained that this visit was to review the availability of cattle as well as to explore further cooperation with Blora Regency.

"We from Perumda Dharma Jaya, DKI Jakarta BUMD have arrived at Blora, which plans to explore further the cooperation that has been established so far, cooperation for the procurement of cattle in DKI Jakarta," he explained.

Several cattle farms in Blora will be visited by a group from PD Dharma Jaya accompanied by the Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Service (DP4) of Blora.

"The plan is, this morning we want to visit several farms to see the availability of cattle in Blora," he added.

He conveyed, previously PD Dharma Jaya had also started making purchases for trading cattle in order to meet the availability and food security in DKI Jakarta.

After the President Director of PD Dharma Jaya and his entourage finished discussing with the Regent, they then continued to review a number of farms in Blora accompanied by the Head of the Blora Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Fishery Service, along with the Head of Blora. (Endah/ IST )
